Empathy

Where does the empathy begin? There may be a scientific explanation like this one found in the article from the Boston Globe.

But where the true empathy may take us further?

As a special introduction to the season of giving, courage and creativity here are two stories that became ONE story.
About Ryan and about his friend and brother Jimmy

They made me think, made me cry and made me feel grateful for living in this beautiful world, the world that good and inspiring people MAKE BEAUTIFUL.

Share these with your friends and family if you wish.

Sanskrit

Anyone having a New Year resolution to learn Sanskrit might find this link useful. And for all of us who would like to learn more about Sanskrit there is an interesting Guide that we can download in PDF from here

The Spiritual Seeker's Essential Guide to Sanskrit
By Denis Waite

Besides, the various tools for learning Sanskrit such as the Online Sanskrit Dictionary, Sanskrit Tutorials, Sanskrit Pronunciation guides, and software for learning Sanskrit and producing documents in Devanagari & Roman formats, and much more are available on this website . I liked the initial quote that matches my views and experience. Here it is:

"It cannot be stolen by thieves,

Nor can it be taken away by kings.

It cannot be divided among brothers
It does not cause a load on your shoulders.

If spent...
It indeed always keeps growing.
The wealth of knowledge...

Is the most superior wealth of all!"

Indeed the knowledge is an unbeatable asset, weapon and tool which only can be surmounted by treasure of human emotions, respect and love.

Let's get to learning with the prayer:

"OM! May that Brahman protect us both (Teacher & Disciple);

May that Brahman nourish us both;

May we work in harmony with great vigor;

May our study be illuminating and fruitful;

May we not hate each other.

Om..
Peace, Peace..."

Heights

The small stone chapel on the hill raising straight up above the coast of Montenegro. This summer I’ve traveled there and hiked to the top of the rocky hill in the dusk.
Oh Master, show your compassion on me
Please come and dwell in my heart.
Because without you, it is painfully lonely
Fill this empty pot with the nectar of love.
I do not know any ritualistic worship
I know and believe only in you!
I have been searching for you all over the world
Please come and hold my hand now.

"Prabhujee" (written by Ravi Shankar)

Recipe

The recipe for Love is simple. The ways, time and place to prepare this food for humanity are all of your choice. Open up to your choices. The ingredients are perceptions, feelings, emotions, thoughts and actions. They are always at hand or you may search to find them around and inside you. Through some secret chambers you may pass to unlock some of them, but it is worth the final outcome. The events of searching and finding are there to spice it all up.

The preparation goes from having it all in your brain, somehow. The ways of perceptions, senses, even extrasensory if you want will lead you to pack it all into your MIND creating understanding and compassion. Further you just let them soak you and fill your HEART brewing passion and trust. Then slowly, inch by inch, or furiously like a storm they will overtake all your whole BODY, your thoughts, energy and course of the actions. Sometimes that all may happen in just an instant? No one can tell. Time will tell. You will know when it is ready inside you to share with the world or with someone special who means the world for you. Will it be sweet? Bitter? Lacking a grain of salt? No one knows until you taste it, and no one but you until you share it, but that all mirrors in your SOUL.

Love for humanity is there prepared to be served by you, all for you to enjoy and share. Just one useful tip which may sound even like a condition, but nonetheless is useful. When preparing this and preparing yourself for this meal you need to think of the apron. So forget your apron of selfishness and get your hands on commitment. Engage. Get involved and build yourself into it. Whatever might be the fears that are blocking you, grasp them and incorporate them, too.

Dream Blog

Why the dates may be of some importance in our lives? When we have done something for the first time or when something important has happened in our lives often get remembered, even celebrated. But we rarely remember the dates of our dreams. Like their ocurance is happening elsewhere, in some other time that can not be captured by calendar and even much more in the other space than reality. Here's to the reality of a dream. The Dream that continues.

Have you been dreaming of something lately? How that connects to you and your reality?

Here I sit by the computer and dream of the World as it might be, talking with people as they might present themselves, knowing that reality of it is coming or has already come to be. Finding things around us, touching them as in a dream, letting them change us and letting us change the world that way, that is maybe the most of one can do to make dreams come true.

Let us link to our dreams.
